Our Projects
12 Ways to Recover
12 Ways to Recover is Open Circle Community's six-week peer-led programme, created by our founder, Claire, using her professional experience and lived understanding of recovery. The programme explores twelve practical themes that support personal growth, resilience and wellbeing, helping people build healthier lives one step at a time. While it has been designed with recovery in mind, the course is open to anyone looking to reconnect with themselves, build confidence and develop positive tools for everyday life.
Men in the Wild
Men in the Wild is a relaxed walking group that brings men together in nature. Through gentle walks, birdwatching and shared conversation, the group creates a safe, pressure-free environment where friendships can grow and people can take time away from the stresses of everyday life. There's no expectation to talk if you don't want to — sometimes simply being outdoors, walking alongside others, is enough to remind you that you're not alone.
Women's Craft Circle
Run Free
Run Free is a supportive running and wellbeing group for women at risk of entering the criminal justice system. The programme uses movement, encouragement and community to help women build confidence, improve their physical and mental wellbeing, and discover their own strength. It's not about pace or performance—it's about creating positive routines, building supportive relationships and proving that everyone deserves the opportunity to move forward.
Women's Craft Circle offers a welcoming space where women can slow down, get creative and connect with others over a shared activity. Originally developed to support mothers and families affected by addiction, the group provides an opportunity to build friendships, share experiences naturally and reduce isolation without the pressure of a formal support group. Whether you're making something with your hands or simply enjoying a cup of tea and conversation, everyone is welcome.
